Linda, Lisboa, onde uma gaivota voa e um sol nos atordoa quando passamos no cais... a olhar o entardecer que o Tejo nos deixa ver. Através dos nossos olhos, colados ao sal do mar; e dos olhos dos demais que ali ficam a sonhar!

as to myself, the choice is the problem... the following are representative:
1) I keep myself believing that I should be better than I really am;
2) I keep myself believing that people are better than they look (sometimes);
3) I keep myself believing that the world can be a better place to be alive in;
4) I keep myself believing that I should do something in order for 'habit' 3) to obtain;
5) I keep myself believing that, with God's gentle help, I shall be able to live up to this standards of mine

Well, what a nice surprise, Jewaira! I am glad to acknowledge the visit of such an interesting blogger that you are :)
The picture that caused your admiration was taken in Lisbon, Portugal, some years ago. I used to study by that window, from where it was taken. There was this winter storm, above the river Tagus, and it was coming to an end as I watched those sun rays breaking across the clouds.
Indeed, many foreigners say that there is something beautiful about the light in the air, in Lisbon. Who knows?, perhaps someday you'll come to appreciate it for yourself... then, let me know :)
